Just one more thing!!! Haha

So, i know i hadn't written in a very long time before today. Well, last night, I was reading a blog by a young man I had met about a week ago at a local college. I met him with a group of other college students that are known as "Catholics on Campus." They are a great group of people!!!

Anyhow, so I was reading this young man's blog, and he had written a post about blogging. I commented on the post. I asked the young man, whose name is Kevin, how he was able to keep up with his blog. I told him that I wasn't able to keep up my blog because I just didn't have the time and because I was discouraged by the lack of hits I was getting.

Kevin told me not to give up. That if I really love what I'm doing, I'll be able to keep up with it, no matter how busy I am, and not to get discouraged, but to keep on plugging, and writing on the blog about what I love...

I gave what Kevin said to me some serious thought. He was right. I shouldn't get discouraged. I should just keep writing about what I love, even if wasn't getting many comments on my posts. So I got back on, and just today I've written three posts because I've just got to talk to you guys! And guess what!? Today alone, over twenty people have viewed the blog!!!! Isn't that incredible?!

I can only thank one person for getting me back to the blogosphere, and a tremendous amount of viewers. So, Kevin, if you ever read this post. I just want to thank you so much for helping me out. I really appreciate it. I can't wait to see you and the rest of the gang from SVSU at Catholics on Campus.

God Bless 'til I get back from Beeton-ton!!!

OK, so I'm impatient..... how about I tell you about BOBBY DARIN?!?!?!?!?!

Yes, I simply can't wait until tomorrow to tell you about the famous singer from the fifties through the early 70s...

Bobby Darin was born May 14, 1936 as Walden Robert Cassotto. When he was just a little boy, he had recurring bouts of rheumatic fever, which left his heart frail. He was told he wouldn't live past the age of 15 or 16 so Bobby was determined to make it big before he died. He was going to be even better than Frank Sinatra!

At first it was very hard, but then he sang a song that splashed its way into the hearts of all teenagers. The rock n' roll song was called Splish Splash. He also had other hits, such as Beyond the Sea, and Mack the Knife.

In 1960, Bobby married actress Sandra Dee, who had acted with him in the movie, Come September. Rock Hudson was also in the movie with the two. Their son, Dodd Mitchell Darin was born in 1961.
Unfortunately, the two divorced in 1969.

At the age of 37, in 1973, Bobby Darin died, after surgery trying to repair his heart.

God Bless 'til I get back from Beeton-ton!!!

Yes, yes, it's been a LONG time

Sorry about that!!! I've been CRAZY busy! With two jobs and school, I dont have a lot of time, but I promise to make more time for you guys! So here is the deal. I decided to add singers to the site to. Not just actors and movies, and after all, some singers do a bit of acting too. So, make sure you look for my next post tomorrow about a singer.... I wonder who it will be? ;)

God Bless 'til I get back from Beeton-ton!!!!
